Media Rep Intern (Africa)
The Farmer Enrichment Program seeks an Intern in Media development, representative will provide on-ground media support, pictures interviews, and video support. Candidates for this position must be mid-level professionals with a proven track record of media support and portfolio support to community projects. He/she will be expected to work on-site farm locations, office settings, and with a variety of stakeholders, including high-level government and UNPCB officials and support team media needs in the feild.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic, technical, and administrative leadership to achieve media capture objectives.
- Develop an implementation media campaign plan for the program.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with other implementing partners to ensure proper capture of activities.
- Establish and foster relationships with a broad network of partners, donors, practitioners, government officials, and business leaders, assimilating them and contributing to new developments relevant to the program.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Hold a degree in public relations, multimedia design, and communication or other equivalents;
- Have at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a structure promoting marketing programs (the certification and/or production);
Proven track record of working with media teams and board of directors.

-Be able to work with partners and communities in the transfer of knowledge through training workshops, meetings, and the use of participatory methods;
Experience in budget management
- Be able to provide technical training to partners and communities;
Have a working knowledge of English and French -required; a master at least two other local languages spoken in the cotton-producing areas ;
Ability to work in a rural community environment
Good computer skills, i.e., Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

Details of Internship
This is a remote, unpaid internship that includes a stipend between $54,164 - $135,411 CFA franc per month to contribute toward the educational expense. Hours to be determined based on availability.
Job Responsibilities
Create content calendars, source images, and create captions for social media. Offer social media marketing strategies to engage and grow followers. Answer phone calls and email inquiries—support management of suppliers/customers. Work with team on business development (gain national/international) experience.
